About PathwayCheck
PathwayCheck exists because Canadian immigration is hard to read: 14 jurisdictions, more than a hundred programs, rules that change without notice. We built one guided assessment that compares your background with the published criteria of each pathway and tells you, in plain language, where you stand — which pathways appear to match, what is missing, and what to verify next.
- Built in Canada
- Independent from government
- Privacy-conscious
- Official federal & provincial sources
- Transparent one-time pricing
Who is accountable for PathwayCheck
Mack Khairi, PMP — Founder / Product Lead
PathwayCheck is led by one accountable product owner rather than an anonymous brand. Mack decides what the assessment asks, what it will and will not claim, and answers for it when it is wrong.
- 17+ years leading complex technology programs.
- Canadian healthcare, public-sector and infrastructure technology delivery.
- Project Management Professional (PMP).
- Product ownership and accountability for PathwayCheck end to end.
Mack is a technology and program-delivery professional, not an immigration consultant, lawyer or adviser. PathwayCheck reads published government criteria and tells you how your answers compare; it does not give immigration advice. For advice about your own situation, consult a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) or an immigration lawyer.

A complete sample result is published for a fictional applicant — the same pathway cards, statuses and downloadable PDF a paid assessment produces. Nothing about the product is behind the payment except your own personalized answer.
What PathwayCheck is — and is not
- It is general information based on published program criteria. It is not legal advice and not a determination of eligibility.
- Results say a pathway appears to match published criteria, may match with missing information, or requires verification — never “you are eligible” or “you are approved”.
- It does not submit applications, contact governments on your behalf, or promise outcomes.
- For advice about your own situation, consult a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) or an immigration lawyer.

How the assessment works
- Tell us about yourself. One guided questionnaire — age, citizenship, language, education, work, job offer, family, funds and where you would like to live. Each section says why it asks. You can save and continue later on any device.
- We check potential pathways. Your answers are compared with the published criteria of 131 pathways across 14 jurisdictions — federal programs, every province, every territory, and Quebec's own selection programs. The comparison is done by rules we write and version from each government's own published criteria, so the same answers always produce the same result. No chatbot or language model writes, scores or guesses any part of your result.
- Understand your options. Every pathway is classified with the reasons it appeared, the requirements met and not met, what to verify, and the official page to verify it on.
Where the information comes from
Each pathway is written from the criteria its government publishes and links to that official page. The bundled rules currently cite 221 official sources, each carrying the date we last re-read it — the most recent on October 7, 2026. Rules change often, so every result shows you the source and the verification date rather than asking you to take our word for it.
Behind the scenes, the government data sits on a versioned platform with official-source provenance and re-verification reminders; when a source crosses its re-verification date, the service reports itself as degraded until it is checked, and Mack Khairi is the person who has to go and check it. What changed and when is in the version history.
Your information
- You can complete the questionnaire without an account. An account (one-time email link, no password) lets you save and continue on another device.
- We ask only what the programs consider, and we tell you why at each section.
- Your answers are used to assess your pathways. They are not sold and not used for advertising.
- You can delete your account and everything in it yourself, from your account page, at any time.
- Everything is served over HTTPS. Sessions in the PathwayCheck app are kept in the device Keychain.
The details are in the Privacy Policy.
