How PathwayCheck works
Three steps, no jargon
Step 1: Tell us about yourself
One guided assessment about your background — age, language, education, work, family and where you'd like to live.
Step 2: We check potential pathways
PathwayCheck compares your answers with the published rules of 131 federal and provincial immigration pathways across 14 jurisdictions.
Step 3: Understand your options
See which pathways appear to match, what's still missing, what to verify — and practical next steps, in plain language.
What you get
A personalized assessment
Built from your own answers — nothing generic, nothing guessed.
Federal and provincial pathways
131 pathways across 14 jurisdictions, including Quebec and the territories.
A clear read on your options
Which published criteria you appear to meet, what is missing, and what to verify next — with the official source linked on every pathway.
Simple, transparent pricing
The questionnaire is free. The detailed assessment and report are a one-time purchase — no subscription.
Rather than take our word for it, read a complete sample result — the same pages, cards and PDF a paid assessment produces, generated for an invented applicant.
Why we ask personal questions
Canadian immigration programs consider factors such as age, education, language ability, work experience and family. We use your answers to evaluate the pathways relevant to your circumstances — and we ask only what the programs themselves consider. Each section explains why its questions matter before you answer them.
Your information, in brief
- You can complete the questionnaire without an account; an account lets you save and continue on another device.
- Sign-in is a one-time email link — we never ask you for a password.
- Your answers are used to assess your pathways, not sold, and you can delete your account and its data yourself at any time.
- Everything is served over HTTPS. Account data is held in a managed database hosted in the United States — we say so plainly.
- No advertising or analytics trackers, and no third-party tracking cookies.
Who is accountable for PathwayCheck
Mack Khairi, PMP — Founder / Product Lead
PathwayCheck is led by one accountable product owner rather than an anonymous brand. Mack decides what the assessment asks, what it will and will not claim, and answers for it when it is wrong.
- 17+ years leading complex technology programs.
- Canadian healthcare, public-sector and infrastructure technology delivery.
- Project Management Professional (PMP).
- Product ownership and accountability for PathwayCheck end to end.
Mack is a technology and program-delivery professional, not an immigration consultant, lawyer or adviser. PathwayCheck reads published government criteria and tells you how your answers compare; it does not give immigration advice. For advice about your own situation, consult a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) or an immigration lawyer.

Independent, and honest about its limits
PathwayCheck is an independent service and is not affiliated with the Government of Canada or IRCC. It is general information — not legal advice, not a Government of Canada service, and not a determination that you qualify. Results say a pathway appears to match published criteria, never “you are eligible”. For advice on your own situation, consult a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant or an immigration lawyer.
Where the answers come from

- How results are decided
- Published rules
- Your answers compared with each program's published criteria
Every pathway is written from the criteria its government publishes, links to that official page, and carries the date we last verified it. Rules change often, so each result shows you where to check for yourself. How we keep the data current.
